90 minutes of battery life and automatic suction-power adjustment

Xiaomi has launched its cordless Vacuum Cleaner G30 Max in additional markets, namely the United States and Germany. It costs $324 and €400 respectively, placing it at the premium end of the handheld vacuum market. The company is clearly positioning it against Dyson products: its design closely resembles those models, particularly through the visible cyclones.

The vacuum uses a multi-stage filtration system which Xiaomi says captures 99.98% of fine dust. Its stated suction output is 280 air watts and 25,000 Pa.

Battery life and intelligent cleaning features

Xiaomi claims up to 90 minutes of use in energy-saving mode. Runtime falls to 70 minutes when the electric floor brush is fitted.

For greater convenience, Xiaomi has included an automatic mode in which an integrated dust sensor adjusts suction power independently. A colour indicator shows the current level of contamination. The model also features lighting on the floor brush to make dust easier to spot in dark areas, along with a separate attachment for removing pet hair.
