Major launch discount for early buyers

Sales of the Mijia Robot Vacuum and Mop 6 Max, Xiaomi’s advanced robot vacuum cleaner, began in China today. Xiaomi describes the new model as its best to date for cleaning coverage and quality.

The standard version with a water tank is priced at 6599 yuan ($955), although it is available for 4624 yuan ($670) during the launch period. The model with an enhanced water supply system costs 6999 yuan ($1000), with an introductory price of 5122 yuan ($745). Xiaomi is also offering a 400-yuan ($60) voucher, an accessory gift set worth 635 yuan, and a two-year warranty.

Mijia Robot Vacuum and Mop 6 Max obstacle detection

One of the key features is an AI obstacle-recognition system using three cameras. Xiaomi says the robot can identify up to 280 objects and 47 types of dirt, including tiny items such as a 3 mm-thick headphone cable, then select an appropriate cleaning strategy for the situation.

The Mijia Robot Vacuum and Mop 6 Max can sweep, mop and scrub floors at the same time. It also features a triple robotic system designed to clean along walls, in corners, and around table and chair legs. Dual bionic mechanical “legs” allow the robot to climb obstacles up to 6 cm high and travel beneath furniture with clearance from 9.3 cm.

Cleaning power and Xiaomi HyperOS controls

Suction power reaches 35,000 Pa. The vacuum includes a self-cleaning system, a feature that simulates manually pressing down on the mop, and anti-hair-wrap protection: its main brush can cut through hair, while the side brush helps prevent tangling.

The robot integrates with the Xiaomi HyperOS ecosystem, has the XiaoAI voice assistant built in, and can be controlled through the Mijia app. Its integrated camera can also be used to monitor pets, control cleaning remotely, make video calls through XiaoAI, and even help the device escape difficult spots from a distance.
